Gecko Pro Tar & Glue Remover has been specially developed for detailers, garages and car cleaning companies that have to deal with stubborn contaminants such as tar, sticky adhesive residues, tree resin and stickers. This powerful yet gentle formula effectively and quickly removes these contaminants without damaging paintwork, plastic or glass.

Tar and glue can be difficult to remove and many products are often too aggressive for the paintwork. Gecko Pro Tar & Glue Remover tackles this dirt powerfully, but always remains safe for your car paintwork. Where other removers can sometimes cause damage, our formula ensures that the surface remains intact and scratch-free.

Application & Use
Gecko Pro Tar & Glue Remover is designed for professional use and can be applied with a cloth or sponge. Suitable for both small areas and larger surfaces.

Instructions

1. Preparation: First clean the surface with our Gecko car shampoo to remove loose dirt.
2. Application: Apply a small amount of the remover to a microfibre cloth or sponge.
3. Treatment: Rub gently over the tar stains, glue residues or other stubborn areas until they dissolve.
4. Removal: Leave to soak for a maximum of 1 minute. Then remove the residues with a clean, damp cloth and rinse with water if necessary.
5. After treatment: Finish with the protective Gecko Original Wax for a long-lasting result.

Pro tip
Always use Gecko Pro Tar & Glue Remover on a cool, dry surface and test the product first on an inconspicuous area to check compatibility with the surface. Do not leave the product to soak for too long (maximum 1 minute). For best results, combine the remover with a soft microfibre cloth that holds dirt well without causing scratches.
